The annual CKIR workshop “Beyond Digitalization - Building Value on Cognition and Insight" was successfully organized on August 24, 2016. The workshop collected again an interesting mix of academics, business people and public sector representatives in a dialogue and sharing of latest experiences and ideas on growth and the role of digital services in the future.
The morning session featured global view on platform economy and projected growth paths. Interesting and also contrary views on the future opportunities for European and Finnish industries were presented and discussed in the panel. The afternoon started with a high level view on the digital development paths and consequent management models for contemporary companies, with special emphasis on opportunities and threats for Finnish companies. After coffee, the focus shifted on real life cases and examples of innovative companies and service concepts.
