Future Internet Public-Private Partnership (FI-PPP) / CONCORD

CONCORD project is a coordination and support action project for EU's Future Internet Public-Private Partnership (FI-PPP) Programme. The FI-PPP is a 600 million euro programme that aims to improve EU competitiveness in the Internet economy and to create customized innovations in the European smart Internet services adoption. The Programme focuses in areas such as logistics, manufacturing and health care, in which Europe possesses unique assets and requirements. Furthermore, FI-PPP creates a useful FIWARE technology platform and generic enablers for these kinds of services, and enables quicker SME adoption of new technologies in Europe.

CONCORD provides the FI-PPP Programme with horizontal activities and services that are common to all FI-PPP participating projects, e.g. CONCORD facilitates the Advisory and Steering Boards of the Programme. CONCORD also provides FI-PPP with a Programme Chair, who is responsible for and coordinates the Programme's internal management and external collaboration activities.
