24.04.2014
The Center for Knowledge and Innovation Research (CKIR) in collaboration with Business School departments organized a seminar on April 10th, 2014 to discuss on how multidisciplinary research can contribute to achieving high-quality business research results.
The seminar addressed the challenges and opportunities of multidisciplinary research in Aalto University’s context through presentations, discussions and representative cases.
The point of departure for the seminar was that mutual efforts on multidisciplinary research build shared understanding, help in identifying new research questions, and support the development of multidisciplinary research methodologies. The seminar also discussed the opportunities for multidisciplinary research at the European level in Horizon 2020.
Around 30 attendees from Aalto Business School and from other Aalto University Schools participated in this research seminar. The discussion will be continued on August 20-21, 2014 at CKIR 15-years seminar.
