A Dashboard web portal tool launched by Smart Campus project
12.09.2014
Smart Campus project has launched a Dashboard web portal tool in June.
The tool is available on Smart Campus website and allows closer monitoring of energy savings on each pilot location on weekly basis. Some of the followed experiments start running again during the autumn period (f. ex. car heating) but most of the experiments are running continuously. The consortium has also been working with the second review of the project (with the European Commission) that will be completed during September.
CKIR is one of the partners in the Smart Campus project, which focuses on the development of energy saving services and applications that integrate measurements into Intelligent Energy Management Systems for creating a Bi-directional Learning Process between public buildings and building users. This integration drives a bi-directional learning process such that both the user and the building learn how to interact with each other in a more energy efficient way. Energy savings will be achieved through the services enabled by ICT and User Behaviour Transformation. Energy savings up to 20% are expected. Pilots are tested at university buildings in Helsinki, Luleå, Milan and Lisbon.
