Beyond Digitalization – Building Value on Cognition and Insight
Center for Knowledge and Innovation Research (CKIR) workshop 2016 takes place on 24 August in Aalto School of Business
August 24, 2016
Aalto University School of Business, Chydenia, Helsinki, Finland
Welcome to the annual CKIR workshop at Aalto School of Business, Chydenia, on 24th of August 2016. This year the workshop will continue on the theme of digital transformations, with specific focus on value creation in various digital ecosystem contexts. We will discuss the phenomenon of sharing economy, digital business ecosystems, as well as the underlying engagement platforms and processes. We build on the premises that digitalization is an enabler for new business and societal value logic, but that human insight, cognition and analytical skills in the adaptation of technologies will ultimately dictate the derived value and growth.
The topic will be approached from various viewpoints on both conceptual and practical level by an esteemed set of speakers from Finnish industries and government agencies, along with recognized international scholars and policy experts. The keynote speakers include, among many others: Prof. Martin Kenney (University of California, Berkeley), Prof. Kyoichi Jim Kijima (Tokyo Institute of Technology), Prof. Yves Doz (INSEAD) and Prof. Anssi Vanjoki (Lappeenranta University of Technology). The workshop will feature keynotes, debates and panel discussions, and invites the audience into a dialogue with the presenters.
CKIR workshop takes place in the Chydenia building of the Aalto University School of Business, Runeberginkatu 22-24, 00100 Helsinki, Finland.
